Buried in the 600 page bill is an increase of the National Debt of $800 Billion. So, forget what number they CLAIM this is costing, they plan on spending much, much more.

And guess what? More draconian government intrusion.

1. Now they are going to fingerprint mortgage brokers. What’s that got to do with it? This crisis wasn’t caused by people doing anything illegal, they had the Fed’s & Greenspans blessing on their stupidity and recklessness. They had every incentive to write bad mortgages and no disincentive. But this is Big Brother.
2. All credit card transactions will not be reported to the IRS. What, people were buying homes with credit cards? I missed that one. More Big Brother, more government intrusion, less privacy, more opportunity for government thugs to break down your door in the middle of the night - not because you’re a terrorist, worse yet, they think you haven’t paid them enough money.

I have compiled a long list of the mistakes I have made in life and the estimated money I have lost because of it. I am submitting it to my congressmen (one if which is Senator Barack Hussein Obama, current President-not-quite-yet-elect of the United States of Surveillance) and asking for my bailout for my stupidity. We want to be fair, don’t we?
