Nuclear Energy Comeback Result Of Russian Gas War

Europe and former Soviet Satellites like Ukraine are finding their Russian gas suppliers sometimes less than cordial to deal with.

Being cold, apparently, has encouraged citizens of those areas to get over their fear of nuclear accidents and embrace nuclear power.

Naturally, this is a positive for uranium and uranium mining stocks. Many uranium mining stocks have doubled, tripled or quadrupled in just a few weeks beginning the end of December 2008. But considering that many had lost over 95% of their value from their peaks and that still leaves them at bargainĀ  basement prices.
