I don’t remember the price of gold when Dennis Gartman, editor of the ultra expensive Gartman Letter, sold gold just a short time ago, but it’s around $900 per ounce yesterday when he supposedly signaled that it’s time to get back in.
Maybe his readers made money on that deal, but I doubt it.
IMHO, gold & silver both are long term holds. When the price gets beaten down, it’s time to go shopping for gold stocks or your favorite form of gold itself, while on sale cheap.
